The musicians are all students at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and their only instruments are synthesizers.Texas Monthly staff writer Michael Hall spent a school year following the band ahead of its latest release—called Excruciatingly High-Frequency Oscillator—and he wrote about it in the September 2025 issue of Texas Monthly.
