The day before she was swept from her cabin into the raging Guadalupe River during Central Texas’s worst flood in more than a hundred years, Cile Steward was, as they say, living her best life. The plucky eight-year-old—only four days into her first month-long Camp Mystic experience—started her morning with banana bread.
