Thousands of Americans died in the Korean War, yet memorials across the country are riddled with errors and inaccuracies. The conundrum is one that executive writer Michael Hall knows personally, as his father, who served as a doctor in the war, struggled to have the U.S. military correct a record with his own name. In exploring his father’s story, Hall met two brothers in Dallas, Hal and Ted Barker, who have been on a four-decade-long mission to correct history.
