From time to time, we are given cause to explore H-E-B’s various house brands. The beloved supermarket behemoth invests a lot of time in ensuring its various snacks surprise and delight its obsessive fans. Sometimes, the result is weird in the pejorative, even downright bewildering sense (we still haven’t gotten over the cake-batter hummus); sometimes, however, the weirdness is captivating, leading us to consider the glory of things we never thought to combine.
