This Former ‘Yellowstone’ Star Returns to Music With a New Voice
We were a few hours out from the live stream, and Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen were on stage, still trying to work out “London Homesick Blues.” It was three o’clock in the afternoon on April 21, the day of Bingham’s second taping of Austin City Limits (his first was in 2009). He and the band had decided last minute that it’d be fun to close the set with the old ACL theme song; they’d covered the Jerry Jeff Walker classic together in the past, and here, they’d just need to tack a chorus onto the end of “I’m A Goin’ Nowhere,” one of Bingham’s new songs.
