Levitation Announces Sleep as Secret Sunday Headliner 

Talk about the Sunday Scaries. Levitation has announced that foundational stoner/doom metal band Sleep will close out the psych rock-and-beyond music festival, performing September 13 at Radio/East. 

Reunited sludge metal quartet Kylesa, new-gen shoegazers Her New Knife, and locally launched power trio the Well have also joined the event lineup. Kylesa plays their first Austin show in over a decade September 12 at Mohawk, headlining a bill with Monolord and REZN, while Her New Knife hops on the Garden’s September 11 Stubb’s show and the Well support Sleep’s Montopolis armageddon. 

Following a 2025 try-out at the Palmer Event Center, Levitation returns this fall to a multi-venue format across the Red River Cultural District and beyond. Bikini Kill, American Football, Molchat Doma, Die Spitz, and Peter Hook & the Light are among the acts set to perform at the choose-your-own-adventure festival – see the complete lineup below, and buy four-day and single-show tickets at levitation.fm.
