What Happened With This Year’s ACL Lineup?
The 2026 Austin City Limits Music Festival lineup, which dropped on Tuesday, features a surprisingly homogenous array of artists: a few pop megastars to dance to (Charli XCX, Lorde, Rüfüs Du Sol), a handful of nostalgia acts for fans who were in college during the Obama years (Twenty One Pilots, the xx, Skrillex, Kings of Leon), and, well, not much else. Farther down the list, the lineup doesn’t diversify much. If you like dancing to electronic pop or revisiting the hits of fifteen years ago—weekend-one GA tickets have already sold out, so many do—you’re probably going to have a great time at Zilker Park this October.
